CANDIDE (By Mark Ravenhill) - George Brown Theatre

An exuberant play brimming with ideas that explores optimism, progress, hope and the search for meaning, through multiple time periods and in parallel universes. A challenging ensemble piece for the sixteen enthusiastic, young actors. It's been my dream to direct this play for many years and it lived up to my expectations.
Candide was commissioned and presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company and first performed in the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, on 29th August 2013.
